Who Did What Blurb

This whole monstruousity was originally conveived February through March 2001 by the members of The Big Note - a Frank Zappa YahooGroup. After an arduous gestation period, this site was birthed on April 11 2001. True to the essence of collaborative effort, these people are held responsible.

Diagnosing An Infected Schenkel

So who can name all the heads on the cover of We're Only in It For The Money?
I'll begin: Frank Zappa (hee-hee).
Mr. Pugh (and Kenny).

See the attached for all heads on the cover of WOIIFTM, except one that is listed as "?" Enjoy...

Heartfelt thanks for that posting. I think ? is actually ? from ? and the Mysterians. But I could be wrongfully misbegotten.
I mean that to mean that I am not sure. Therefore my question is:
Is ? ? of ? et al?
dh/glands?

I, myself (as opposed to I, yourself), wondered that very thing, David. So I checked with AFFZ for supplication (they have the treasury to allow for those needed emollients). Oddly enough, they told me to "dry up".
Hurt (but not defeated), I soldiered on - combing the Internet for an answer (and I used one of those blue, RID¨, head-lice combs too; so you know I really checked). I stumbled upon this interesting tidbit at the "AFFZ - Vinyl vs. CD FAQ":

It is often a point of debate as to who is really behind the ? on the Mothers "We're Only in it for the Money" Cover. The photo on the vinyl jacket bears an uncanny resemblance to ? of ? & the Mysterians (aka Dick Fitswell). The pre-95 CD issues (Ryko, or otherwise), however, show a figure more resembling Marky Mark (aka Mark Wahlburg). After the complete FZ catalog reissue in 1995, with it's changes in cover art, that figure more resembled Mork from Ork (aka Robin Williams). But I'm here to tell you that the figure is none other than Ahmet Ertegun, then head of Atlantic Records, and Ahmet Zappa's namesake.

Personally, I think the personally, I think the personally, I think the personally, >thwiggidic< (sorry, had a dust wad on my needle) I think the person behind the symbol is St. John of Doe, Patron Saint of Forgotten (or forgettable) people everywhere - like Stan, for instance.
But that's just me, of course. SOFA

Okay, I'm confused here. If the ? is in fact pointing to the right guy here, then to me it looks like a monster from an old horror movie. Make sense? The yellow bald guy isn't it? More like Nosferatu than Mork, Mark, or Ertegun. And what about the unlabelled guys on the right of him? A blinded Clark Gable and another yellow-belly? I'm not satisfied. Mr. Pugh
