Historical Poot
Howdy friends, Jack Bivouac here. I see that my boy SOFA done took good care of you whilst I was away. But, as they say, I'm back in the saddle again! Since we've pretty much covered all the ground before Lumpy Gravy became the standardized initiation to The Big Note, I thought y'all might be interested in the founder's responses to the questions given new initiates. Oh, they never had to actually perform a Lumpy Gravy themselves, but they did question one another in a similar manner in the earliest days of the group. So all you LG graduates can take heart - they never asked more of you than they asked of themselves…
So sit back, and enjoy a little trip down memory lane.

Favorite Song: Lets Make the Water Turn Black
Favorite Solo:: a draw between Watermelon in Easter Hay and Yo Mama.
Favorite Ad-lib: There is a sequence of Lone Ranger and Tonto references which appear to be pleasing everyone on stage including FZ, when others in the band appear to catch him out. I forget the recording right now.
Well folks, there ya have it. You can see that the Lumpy Gravy reaches even the upper echelon of The Big Note. Like my Grampappy used to say, "Boy, even the greatest of men have had to take there fair share of lumps". I hope y'all will come back for some more Lumpy Gravy. I'm stirrin' up a fresh batch as you read this…
