Who Did What Blurb

This whole monstruousity was originally conveived February through March 2001 by the members of The Big Note - a Frank Zappa YahooGroup. After an arduous gestation period, this site was birthed on April 11 2001. True to the essence of collaborative effort, these people are held responsible.

Fake The Boots Part IV

Trunks Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Bra

(For an indepth review of this Fake Boot, may we suggest you click here, proverbially speaking.)

The latest in TBN's Fake the Boots series, TATLTSADB (as it is affectionately known) is a recording by that chameleonic iconoclast of the post-modem school, Farky "Red" Snappa & his rockin' middle-aged combo, the "Lovers of Pretension".

Snappa fans the world over have "cut their musical teeth" on such classic recordings as "Hot Cats" (all lyrical references to pussy), "Conga Fury" (homage to various world tribal rhythms), "Joe's Pole Barn" (a treatise on censorship and inbreeding in the rural South US), and "Shut Up and Play Yer Zither" (a collection of electric zither solos in a sprawling 3-disk box set).

With TATLTSADB, Snappa once again defies convention by creating an album of "Surf Music" - not a recording done in that specific musical genre, but a collection of songs ABOUT surf.

Cutting edge? Of course it is! But nothing less than you've come to expect from Rock n Rolls mad jester...
