Who Did What Blurb

This whole monstruousity was originally conveived February through March 2001 by the members of The Big Note - a Frank Zappa YahooGroup. After an arduous gestation period, this site was birthed on April 11 2001. True to the essence of collaborative effort, these people are held responsible.

A couple of different people from the Group have notified me about a "personal ad" that was apparently posted with my name on it. I received a copy of the ad addressed to me from someone at (withheld). I didn't know what to make of it, but I noticed my name was somehow attached to it in the form of a "please remove my name..."
I replied immediately to the post (which I had mistakenly assumed went to me alone) with three words: "that's not nice."
I've been away from my desk all day today. Now that I know that this ad was posted, I've written to (withheld) a second time asking for an explanation. I don't know if it originated with (withheld) or not, but that's the address from which it came to me.
I'm sorry to bother any of you with this, but it is pretty creepy when someone else starts sending out mail under your own name.
If anyone else can shed some light on this mystery, I'd be grateful.
Thanks,
D/H
Glands of Destiny: Impersonal as always....

John,
Maybe I haven't even seen the actual post. The only thing I got was from (withheld).
Here it is in its entirety.
